: Echoes of the past and present
Hi I want to start my letter by saying how great it is this blog and I am very pleased to publish my letters anti-racism that shows the absolute maturity of the authors of the blog.
Well as I tell I'm an anti-racism and will do everything possible to slow down a little racism in America well my theme is to remember the bloody events of the past in Rosewood. This was a village where people of African with white racism existed but everyone lived in peace side by land was only of blacks but whites settled there (LA RAZA SUPERIOR) as they called this village is 50 kilomatros in Florida they were the facts:
In 1923, Fanny Taylor, a young white woman in Summer, falsely accused a black man getting into his house to beat him up in one hour fierce form a group called "white women's advocate" and attacked blacks in Rosewood. They said they were seeking a fugitive prisoner named Jesse Hunter, but actually attacked everyone: men, women and children. With the advent of KKK and other supremacist group neighboring towns grew to 1500. After a week of lynching, rape, maiming, shooting, arson and torture, razed to Rosewood. 70 years passed before an investigation into what happened in Rosewood. In 1923, a judge reviewed the case of Sam Carter the blacksmith of Rosewood and first lynched and maimed, and declared that Carter died "because of damage unknown." But the judge knew many of the lynchers and was a friend of the sheriff, who was present during the lynching. Official documents say eight people, two of them white, were killed that week. But witnesses report seeing many more lynchings and mass graves. One month after the slaughter, told a grand jury found insufficient evidence to prosecute any individuals for the slaughter of Rosewood.
In 1994, the Florida Legislature finally investigated the slaughter. After a debate filled with concern about the possibility of blacks, Vietnamese, Japanese, Latin, Seminole Indians and all other victims of racism and pogroms in Florida could sue the state, lawmakers decided to give each one of the survivors of Rosewood a small sum of money in compensation.
The decade of the 20 also saw the largest growth of the KKK, who came to have three million members. Singleton had a lot of information to portray the horrors committed during the slaughter of Rosewood.
Yet justice is not committed by the bloody events. They feel just like slaughter and hide among the victims had not only had black Latino!. This causes racism pain, suffering and tragedy. REFLECTIONS .. and if you want more information see the movie Rosewood ... there are details to better detail the facts. Images
strong but reflective of the slaughter:
